Cheffe d’entreprise du groupe «Velgda» (ventes et achats des produits céréaliers, l’import-export), Adja Mamounata Velgda est classée première dans le top 100 des femmes chefs d’entreprise au Burkina Faso. Le répertoire réalisé par la Chambre de commerce et de l’Industrie burkinabé a été présenté le vendredi 14 septembre 2018 à Ouagadougou à l’occasion du Forum en faveur des femmes chefs d’entreprises.
«J’ai été surprise d’être le numéro 1 du top 100. C’est dû au chiffre d’affaires et parce que je suis à jour vis-à-vis de l’impôt que j’ai mérité ce classement. J’ai toujours payé l’impôt depuis que j’ai commencé le commerce. J’ai commencé à payer l’impôt à 250 F, ensuite 600F» a déclaré la lauréate sous les ovations des invités.
«Je m’acquitte de ce devoir parce que je sais que, avec le paiement des impôts, c’est aussi ma contribution pour le développement du pays. Ma première activité commerciale a été la vente de galettes. J’ai commencé à vendre des galettes avec un budget de 300 F CFA. Aujourd’hui, dans le groupe Velgda, on a plusieurs activités. Nous faisons de l’import-export, de la vente des céréales …», a poursuivi Adja Mamounata Velgda.
Avec plus de 17 milliards de F CFA de chiffres d’affaire déclaré à l’administration fiscale en 2016, elle a été naturellement désignée «Meilleure femme entrepreneure du Burkina». C’était à l’occasion d’un forum organisé dans le cadre de la célébration du 70e anniversaire de la Chambre de commerce et de l’industrie du Burkina afin d’ériger en modèles les championnes du secteur privé, créer des références pour convaincre celles qui hésitent encore et célébrer celles qui se battent chaque jour pour créer des richesses.
