Diffusion aujourd’hui 28 décembre 2018, du décret d’avancement de deux femmes comme contrôleurs généraux de Police. Ce qui monte à trois(03) le nombre de femmes à ce poste et en activité. Trois(03) autres anciennes ont déjà pris leur retraite.
Pour cette année, les nominées sont Celestine Dombwa et Sali Diarra. La première était chef de la Division des affaires criminelles à la Direction de la Police judiciaire et en même temps, Point Focal genre de la Police Nationale. A noter que Celestine Dombwa a représenté la Mali dans les Missions de maintien de la Paix à Haïti et en République Démocratique du Congo, où elle a occupé des postes de responsabilité.
La deuxième, Sali Diarra était l’adjointe au Directeur de la Sécurité publique, auparavant Commandant de la Brigade des Mœurs.
