A 69 ans, la première téléspeakerine malienne nous a quitté pour un monde meilleur. Tosso Diarra est décédée le 28 septembre 2018 à Envers en Belgique. De son vrai nom M’Barassa dite Tosso Diarra née en 1949 à Ségou. D’abord enseignante, elle rejoint la grande famille de la Radio Nationale du Mali comme animatrice quelques années avant de devenir la première téléspeakerine à l’arrivée de la Télé au Mali le 21 septembre 1983. Elle continuera avec des programmes à l’Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision du Mali (ORTM) jusqu’à sa retraite.
1m65, teint clair, toujours d’une humeur joviale, que ce soit sur le petit écran ou dans sa vie quotidienne. Notre aimable doyenne s’en est allée en laissant quatre enfants, une dizaine de petits enfants, des parents, collègues et amis inconsolables. L’inhumation est prévue pour le jeudi 4 octobre à 16h au cimetière de Faladié-Niamakoro.
